Day 25 found us with enough time to sneak into an orange grove and cozy up with some of the local fruit—oranges and lemons are everywhere! A farmer was seen checking us out and Sammy and Roman fell off the fence in the resulting panic. Once we arrived in Granada we got to act as tourists at the Alhambra and sightsee a bit. Our show at Sugarpop was delayed by a futball match between Real Madrid and Barcelona. We watched the game in a café bar full of wild Spanish youth. Barcelona won 6-2. We played an energetic set and after the show we did some cinema verité with one of the dudes from the opening band “Bisagra”. Joe stars at the conflicted cop who loves too much.

There was a good punk band from Boston called Witches with Dicks. I wonder how they came up with the name.

Girona, ES

The whole band is suffering a bit from allergies. Consequently, a walk-by occasionally morphs into a sniff-by. The Girona video premiers the sniff-by. It also features some quality bull-horning, a make-shift rehearsal, and some guest knee-bends.

Luca & Tuscany, IT

We played at a club just outside of Luca and then stayed at Martina’s (the promoter’s) guest house in the hills of Tuscany. Amazing views everywhere. Roman’s obsession with roosters continues. Smooth Jiminal. YouTube removed this one because of copyright infractions. Working on getting a different soundtrack.
